Review Of What We Do In The Night

Wow...This was a yummy, juicy and addictive read. Stylo Fantome killed it with this book and what an amazing ride it was from start to finish...and that ending deserves an another extra star. It ended on such a high and logical note that I was literally dying to get my hands on the next one!

My last read by the author was - While I was away, and though I had liked the overall theme and story telling, I had few complaints, but with this book, I have absolutely none. It's fun, engaging, and enthralling and so damn sexy, with the right amount of 'foreplay, kink, sex and also banter'. And it's also serious, with a tender, emotionally moving moments and a love story at the heart. Like I said - It's a mixture of everything nice in the right proportions.

I loved both the protagonists - Valentine and Ari. They have their own fierce unique personality and they know exactly what they are doing and why. That's what I loved most about them, and they also make for a great pair, with the off charts, smoking hot chemistry - both on and off bed. They also know what they want (and be it right or wrong), they go for it, well aware of the consequences, yet taking the risk of playing with fire. That's what even adds to the 'anticipation' factor of what happens at night. I especially loved Ari (Aaron) - he is a game changer with secrets of his own and an attitude that really turns me on - No wonder he's so good for Valentine, able to match her in everything, and it also makes her submitting to him all the more interesting to read.

Though I'm not a huge fan of narrative style writing, this book - right from the first page, with it's unique settings of the club , and 'everything that goes on in there', totally reeled me in and didn't let go until the last page. It's fast paced, and beautifully written with quite a few surprising elements as well.

Overall I'll give it 5 glittering stars.
