Book Review Requests.
I am really happy about all the review requests I have got so far. I really tried to add each and every one of them to the TBR but that became too taxing and I realized I was pushing myself too much. That's when I came up with an idea to revamp the whole site. I do want to help all the indie authors by giving honest reviews but being a picky reader, I can't read all genre of books and force myself to enjoy them. Also, I won't be doing hundred percent justice to the book if I pick a book of the genre I am not interested in. That would be unfair to the author too and hence I will clearly lay down the kind of books I enjoy.
I DON'T enjoy fantasy, supernatural, sci-fi, historical romance,M/M, F/F, or any form of non-fiction. But for fantasy or supernatural, you can contact aishwarya directly who is an occasional reviewer. Her contact id is : girishaishwarya@gmail.com.
Coming to what I enjoy:
1) My all time top favorite is Love Triangles. It can involve cheating, I don't mind. My all time favorite love triangles are my own books ( Love Connection Series), Arsen. Thoughtless series. I hope you got the idea;)
2) Dark Romance- This can include all taboo kind of romance and very dark stuff involving rape, bondage, BDSM, kidnapping etc..My all time favorite books in this genre are the ones written by K.Wenster and even the dark lotus series.
3) Stories that are filled with angst and can break my heart. Something like Carnage by Lesley Jones?
4)Long series involving interrelated couples and some family drama, like the addicted to you/Calloway sister series.
5) Romantic suspense and any kind of unconventional romance.
6) Romantic comedies are okay, but I don't read it often. It depends on my mood. I do like books by Tara Sivec.
7) Psychological Thrillers. I am going to be very specific about this one. It should have some mind-fucking element. There are many books that I tried to read which were called a gripping psychological thriller but sadly they were far from it. To quote few examples, Nocte, Whispers and Roars, bury me and stuff like that are what I call psychological thrillers.
8) Second chance Romance. I do like them but they need to have something different or unique to hold my interest, but I can try.
9) Thrillers - It is plot dependent. If I liked the blurb, I will go with it.
I don't read Young adult and prefer books to have some/ explicit sexual content. I always prefer HOT romance.

I give one-five star ratings. If a particular book makes me cry, melts my heart, soaks my panties and makes me want to read it all over again or own a paperback ( which is a rarity) then I will give it five hearts;)
